Our Mission

LA Skyline

Connecting with others has been harder than ever while trying to remain safe. With so many people stuck inside the past few months, they are not sure what is safe or what they can do outside. This has taken a toll on people’s lives and mental health. Distance Assistance LA will promote safe and fun things to do in today’s climate in Southern California. Each recommendation we make will be personally visited and reviewed by us.

Our History

USC students

Chantal Guerrero and Tatiana Lubanko are two graduate students at USC studying Digital Social Media. COVID-19 not only physically impacted them but also mentally and they discovered they weren’t alone. They came together to build a platform that will help people in Los Angeles connect to businesses and do activities in a safe way. We wanted to create a space people can visit and find ideas on where they can eat, activities they can do, and resources they can reach out to regarding mental health.
